Folc Sparkling Rosé

Folc is a tiny English rosé wine.
They were launching a sparkling rosé.
It’s made with the same grapes, using the exact same method as all the famous Champagne houses.
But for legal reasons, we couldn’t actually call it Champagne, so I called it something far more colloquial…Pink Champers.
But I didn’t stop there, I also had a lot of fun with calling out some of those well known French competitors.

THE RESULTS?

A cease and desist from Bollinger (sour grapes perhaps?) coverage in The Times, A TV interview with the Folc founder (let’s not dwell on who with Mr.Farage!) loads of online coverage, and a 4700% sales increase.

Not bad for a tiny brand, and all on a tiny budget.

Cheers.
